| The Electric Blender: A Brief History Posted: 25 Mar 2011 07:20 PM PDT The electric mixer, as we know it today was in 1919 by Stephen Poplawski, owner of the Stevens Electric Company invented. From 1922 to improve, for the continuation of his invention, patented the Poplawski blender and started to sell through his company, the Stevens Electric Company, a "drink mixer". This device is sold primarily to make pharmacy soda fountain milk shakes and malts. The Stevens Electric Company was purchased by Oster Oster Manufacturing in 1946 and wasProducts purchased by Sunbeam in 1960. Sunbeam Products is taking place today, you can still buy a direct descendant of the original Blender! introduced a few years later Poplawski blender was in 1935, developed Osius Fred (he was also a founding member of the Hamilton Beach Company involved) to make his sound and the financing of Fred Waring. In 1940, the VitaMixLine was very popular by television advertising and the VitaMix blender was introduced in the first 30 minutes infomercial in Cleveland. In 1950, the electric mixer had a common kitchen appliance, along with toasters and coffee makers. In 1960, he published a series of Vita-Mix high-performance sound, which, in addition to milling, mixing and blending, could ice, cooking soup, juice production.
